CPA OR CPA CANDIDATE
We are looking for an energetic, conscientious, and detail-oriented individual who enjoys making a difference, and takes pride in their accounting career, to join our team of professionals.
The ideal candidate will be a CPA licensed in New York State with a minimum of 3 years recent public accounting firm experience in accounting, auditing and tax. Candidates should be able to research complex accounting and tax issues; be proficient in the use of applicable technology; specifically, Microsoft 365, QuickBooks, and CCH Axcess; have excellent communication skills; be well organized with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail; as well as the ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize assignments.
Responsibilities will include financial statement preparation for business clients and tax preparation, tax planning and consulting for business, nonprofit, individual and fiduciary clients.
BOOKKEEPER
We are looking for an experienced bookkeeper to join their staff. Responsibilities will include preparation of payroll & sales tax filings, reconciliations, and data entry. Income tax preparation experience a plus. The right candidate will be detail oriented and have experience with Microsoft 365 suite and QuickBooks Desktop as well as Online versions.
